ICARDI SURISJVAN NEBBIOLO LANGHE

In the early 60s, Cav. Pierino began producing wine from his grapes, starting a path increasingly devoted to quality. Today, his children Claudio and Mariagrazia take care of the company, following in the footsteps of their father.The Icardi style is known throughout the world for its stylistically very fruity wines, of extreme finesse, cleanliness and elegance, while in the mouth they are balanced from their birth, even the most important ones, already appreciable in the short term. 

Surìsjvan, or "Smile of Ivan", is dedicated to Claudio's son. The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo. The wine is vinified with light pressing and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. There is some oak aging as well. The wine is very elegant with notes of violet and spices. It pairs well with very mature cheeses.
