YVES MARTIN SANCERRE CHAVIGNOL ROUGE 2022 - Wine Nexus

A classic red from the village of Chavignol made from 100% Pinot Noir. The 2022 shows bright red cherry, raspberry, and subtle earthy spice, with a fresh, mineral edge and fine, understated tannins. It’s light- to medium-bodied, elegant, and very food-friendly rather than heavy.

Pairings: roast chicken, duck breast, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, pork tenderloin.  The freshness also makes it great with herb-roasted vegetables or lentil dishes.
