B&R is a neighborhood wine and spirits boutique that has focused since it's 2000 founding on delicious wines at every price point from inexpensive wines for gallery openings, through everyday dinner wines right up to the world's greatest collectibles. We've emphasized small growers with organic, biodynamic, natural and lute raisonée practices since we opened. 

We have been very excited to support local wineries and distilleries as the Brooklyn Boom in food and drink has exploded around us, and continue to take pride in representing local producers.

We opened back before the neighborhood's loft spaces had all become condos and were one of the few "community centers" around--and we are thrilled to still be one of the neighborhood's focal points with our free tastings and other events bringing people in to hand out, share and learn, as well as to pick up a bottle (or 12).
